State Enterprise “Ukrainian Scientific Railway Car Building Research Institute” is engaged in acquisition and protection of intellectual property rights on intellectual property items, that is acquisition of patents for inventions and utility models, copyright registration for software application, data-base programs, literary technical works and others created by the employees in the Institute.

Within the period from 1979 up to now more than 200 titles of protection and registration statements including USSR inventor’s certificate, Ukrainian patents for inventions, Ukrainian utility model patents, Certificates of copyright registration for employee’s inventions were obtained.

Between 1991-2016 years DP “UkrNDIIV” was granted 7 (seven) Ukrainian invention patents, 23 (twenty three) Ukrainian utility models patents, 28 (twenty eight) copyright registration certificates and 3 custom-built software applications.
