{"id":207,"date":"2015-12-15T09:30:00","date_gmt":"2015-12-15T06:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ukrndiv.weblancer.me\/en\/pro-pidpryyemstvo\/"},"modified":"2025-05-06T15:47:19","modified_gmt":"2025-05-06T12:47:19","slug":"about-plant","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ukrndiv.com.ua\/en\/about-plant\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>State Enterprise<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u201cUkrainian Scientific Railway Car Building Research Institute<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong>(<strong>DP<\/strong><strong> \u00abUkrNDIV\u00bb<\/strong><strong>) is the research institute for main line and departmental railway rolling stock.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">State Enterprise \u201cUkrainian Scientific Railway Car Building Research Institute (DP \u201cUkrNDIV\u201d) in Kremenchug was established as the Ukrainian freight wagons research branch of All-Union Research Railway car-building Institute (Moscow). The Act of the Minister of USSR heavy manufacturing on the foundation of the research institution for manufacturing and supply support of freight wagons of higher quality design came into force in December, 1961.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0Nowadays Institute incorporates 16 subdivisions including 7 self-dependent research laboratories The number of staff employed is 107 persons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0<strong>Foreign economic activities and export potential<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The principal directions of the Institute\u2019s foreign economic activities were:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Cooperation with the Committee of Organization for Co-operation between Railways (OSJD). The Institute participated in determination of OSJD Objects of interest and in the OSJD workshop panel on railway infrastructure and rolling stock,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Cooperation with Railway Transport Council of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Georgia, participation in the expert panel and in the work of the Authorized Representatives of the Railway Transport Committee;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Technical diagnostics of railway passenger cars with expired service life for determination of their further safe operation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Participation in the Committee work for acceptance of heavy castings for bogies of the freight wagons ( a 18-7020 model) manufactured by foreign enterprises &#8211; CKD KUTNA HORA\u00bb(Czech Republic) and \u00abAmsted Rail Company, Inc\u00bb(USA) with the purpose of their full-scale production<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Strong business partnerships with firms and enterprises of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Georgia and the far abroad countries (USA, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, China, Iran) in the area of experimental research tests and railway products certification.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>DP\u201dUkrNDIV\u201d is responsible for fulfillment of following tasks:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Scientific research in the field of railway freight and passenger car- building, diesel and electric trains, diesel and electric suburban trains, main line and departmental railway vehicles, underground railway carriages and street cars<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fulfillment of obligations of the leading scientific institution of the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine in the field of \u201cDesign and engineering of main line and departmental rolling stock\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Executions of functions of the head standardization body on \u201cDesign and engineering of main line and departmental rolling stock\u201cand liabilities of the Technical Committee for Standardization (TC-83 \u201cCoaches\u201d).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fulfillment of obligations of the Certification Body for railway car building products (OS PV)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Executions of functions of the Testing Centre for van building products and foundry (TC VP)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Technical inspection of the transport machinery products with a view to elongation of their service life beyond the lifespan.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Prime customers (consumers) for research and development products of Institute are enterprises within a range of influence of the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine (enterprises of (JSC \u201cUkrzaliznytsia\u201d), manufacturing enterprises, foreign firms.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Research and development activities (investigations and tests) are carried out for both foreign enterprises and national manufacturers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>DP\u201dUkrNDIV\u201d current priorities are:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Analytical and experimental research on designing and launching of the new-built and upgraded passenger, commercial, municipal railway vehicles into production<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Expert evaluation of the technical specifications for passenger, commercial and municipal railway stock.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Scientific research activities on standardization, certification and metrology, including those harmonized with International and European standards.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fulfillment of obligations of the head standardization body on \u201cDesign and engineering of main line and departmental rolling stock\u201cand responsibilities of the Technical Committee for Standardization (TC-83 \u201cCoaches\u201d).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Strategic research priorities of SE\u201cUkrNDIV\u201d comprise R&amp;D support for railway stock of the new generation with competitive performance specifications and qualified for interstate service on 1520-mm gage railway network.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>A list of the main scientific results that made it possible to achieve the impact<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ukrndiv.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/a.pdf\"><em>Implementation of research projects funded by domestic enterprises<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ukrndiv.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/b.pdf\"><em>Impact on the development of the research and experimental facilities and production<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ukrndiv.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/c.pdf\"><em>State recognition of scientific results<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ukrndiv.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/d.pdf\"><em>Performing research and development studies paid for by foreign companies<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ukrndiv.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/e.pdf\"><em>International acknowledgment of research achievements<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>State Enterprise \u201cUkrainian Scientific Railway Car Building Research Institute\u201d(DP \u00abUkrNDIV\u00bb) is the research institute for main line and departmental railway rolling stock.
